Ready to try yoga? ONE Yoga offers the Best Beginner Yoga

Are you wondering why everyone is talking about the benefits of yoga?

Yoga can soothe away your stress and help you get fit, strong and flexible. Yoga has been scientifically proven to help lower blood pressure, relieve back pain and even improve memory and sleep!

If you are ready to give yoga a try, ONE yoga is the perfect studio for  you.  We offer Denver’s best beginner yoga classes with some of the most knowledgeable teachers around.

BEGINNER CLASSES

If you are brand new to yoga you may want to take the ONE BEGINNER YOGA class.  This is an interactive class that will teach you the foundations of yoga poses. The class is friendly and comfortable. And you will learn how to get into each pose safely with modifications that are just right for YOUR body. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the philosophy behind yoga and it’s benefits.  Some students attend the BEGINNER class week-after-week learning new aspects of yoga. And some attend once or twice at the beginning of their yoga journey.  If you are new to yoga – the Beginner class is a great place to start.

At ONE Yoga our Beginner classes are taught by our MOST experienced teachers so you can learn from the best.

Other good classes for new Beginners include: ONE Gentle, ONE Hatha 1, ONE Power 1 and ONE Restorative

WHAT TO EXPECT

Please arrive about 15 minutes before your first class to complete our paperwork and get a quick tour of the studio.  ONE Yoga is a “shoes-free” studio.  So everyone kicks off their shoes and slips them into the cubbies when they walk in the door.  A friendly ONE Yoga teacher will meet you at the front desk to tell you about the class you will be taking.  We offer super-clean locker rooms, bathrooms and shower facilities. And we do have locks available for you if you’d like to lock up your belongings.  Bring your own mat, or we can rent one to you for $3/class.

Wear comfortable clothing that moves with you.  Most students are barefoot on their mats and don’t wear socks because they can be slippery.

Most classes are an hour long and will include a few minutes of rest (called “sivansa”) at the end.

HEALTH ISSUES

If you have health or mobility issues please ensure that you have your doctor’s approval before starting yoga or any other physical practice.
